I would totally recommend Goa. Its a tourist destination so they are accustomed to seeing outsiders and its easy to rent bikes or cars and move around. People speak English. the clubbing scene is amazing (but if you aren't into that they have other stuff). May is the hottest time to visit. It will be extremely humid as well (though the mangoes are in abundance at that time). In terms of adventure sports I'm not sure what they specifically have as I am a native of Goa so I led a more local sort of life. Hope this helps. Have fun!"
