You always remain tied in when inside a portaledge. no matter how well you trust a ledge and its anchors, you should be ties in independantly. Your harness should never come off!
the floors don't sag into a bag, but it is like sleeping somewhat in a hammock.
Great Photos & an amazing Mountain. I have always wanted to go to Baffin Island. I do have a question about portaledges though. Do you always remain clipped on to anchors while inside, or do you trust the portaledge completely? And is the floor stiffened in some way, to stop it sagging into a bag?
