Rode through NM, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas all in one day, hooray!
Great ride and video! Last Memorial Day, myself and 2 dear friends departed northeastern Oklahoma for a motorcycling adventure through OK, TX, NM, and CO. I'm fully aware that this trip lacks the grandeur and epic scale of many ride reports here. We love reading such reports and hope to do an Alaska run in the not too distant future. But in the meantime, I ended up with a lot of decent photographs and decided to do a report on our 1500 mile quad-state run. Allow me to preface this ride report by disclosing that while I do ride a Harley, I have never worn silver conches, do not own any garments adorned in tassel-fringe and have never worn a doorag. Most importantly, I don't dress like a freaking pirate. On a side note, I would rather be murdered than to be caught wearing chaps. My dream bike is a R1200GS, but due to lack of funding I wish someday I will apply for TX payday loans, but now I ended up with a 2009 Harley Davidson XL1200N. I've never even been a Harley guy and it's about as far away from an ADV bike as imaginable, but it's classic looks spoke to me and well - thats what I ended up with. For some reason I always choose bikes to use in ways they were never intended.
