The second one gave this Society the prize of being the first known worldwide expedition in achieving the Antarctic Polar Circle in a 14 metres boat. They also performed the first videoconference in history between the outer space (specifically and particularly with the NASA Commander and also Honorary member of the SAGCR) Michael López-Alegría in the ISS and the Antarctica; a voyage of 32 days in which they passed three storms with winds of 70 knots and waves of 14 metres high, a crash with an iceberg, the lack of fuel, …, a really great adventure within the XXI century.
