I have always found the Adventurous side of life more rewarding than falling into comfort zones, which is why I am constantly pursuing it. I am the person who wants to shake a strangers hand first and then proceed on asking question after question to take out as many stories as I can!
I have realized that no matter where in the world you find yourself, if you search for the negative you will always find one. So I smile a lot, I mean a lot… good humour and a sense of perspective have so far kept me away from the obvious pitfalls of travel and work. I have many of faults but I like to think I always look for something in anything, whether that is in people, places or even fifteen-hour train routes (the latter is contrary to popular belief).
I work hard and will as I have always, stretch myself and maintain an outlook that every adventurer has. Knowing things are out there to be found challenged and achieved, not to be scared of, dismissed or lost.
I don’t believe you have to climb mountains to be adventurous; you just do something you have never done before. I have never been to South Africa and if given the opportunity I would do so with every inch of me overflowing full of excitement!
