The Adventurists Africa Rally is a charity expedition from London to Cameroon that took place in 2008 and 2009.
The Taurinorum Travel Team from Turin, with an old 1987 Fiat Panda 4x4, was the first italian team (together withNoBrain team from Rome) that participated at the the rally since it has been internationally launched in 2008. The team members were Carlo Alberto Biscaretti di Ruffia, Ludovico de Maistre and Paolo Rignon, very good friends in life with a passion for adventure, travel, nature and photography.
Only 17 teams arrived untill the end, in the coastal city of Limbe, near the slopes of Mount Cameroon. All the cars have been sold for charity during an auction and the entire event rised more than 60.000 GBP (about 70.000 euro).
The Taurinorum Travel Team is now preparing a new no limits expedition in South America in order to raise money for Progetto Humanitas Onlus. The project that we will support will be also documented by the team during the trip.
Sponsors and Film productions are welcome...
