a holiday amidst the clouds :) this is one beautiful hill station ! you get to see mist hovering between the valleys , above the hills. many scenic views from different points...cycling around the kodai lake early morning is a must do ! one of my childhood joys revived :) interesting to see the locals live their life in a hilly area. pretty flowers are abundant and some species of birds and animals too . check out the tibetan welfare association around the kodai lake selling winter wear. also many kashmiri handicrafts , ngo based shops selling hand made stuff are there.

best time to visit : june-oct(maybe rainy). march-may is the peak tourist season...very crowded !
