I am Kanika Thakkar, currently a Textile Design student at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India who finds her inspirations in the living arts of society, the treasure of crafts given birth by human skills and thus aspire as well as venture far distances to seek out for inspirations. Thus, a travelling addict i hope to continue my experiences to value and spread the wisdom of crafts in whatever i endeavour in the future.
DESIGN leads to the manifestation of human intentions... and if we make with our hands is to be sacred and honor the Earth that gives us life, then the things that we make must not only rise from the Earth but return to it... Soil to Soil, Earth to Earth.
