Il carcere di Fornelli  è stato un penitenziario attivo nell'isola sarda dell'Asinara. Questo carcere di massima sicurezza ha ospitato membri delle Brigate Rosse durante gli anni di piombo, e boss mafiosi negli anni novanta. Nel 1979 ci fu un tentativo di insurrezione. Solamente due reclusi riuscirono ad evadere in tutta la sua storia. E' stato dismesso nel 1998 e dal 2002 l'isola è interamente parco nazionale.
