It is a red sandstone fort that has notable architectures inside fort namely Pearl Mosque or Moti Masjid, the Diwan-e-aam and Diwan-e-Khas (halls of public and private audience), Jahangir's Palace, Khas Mahal, Shish Mahal (mirrored palace), and the Musamman Burj. Another one is Fatehpur Sikri built by Mughal Emperor Akbar and moved his capital here but later abandoned due to shortage of water and thus also referred as ghost city.
