The original Silk Route which converges onto the point where the Wakhan Corridor begins. Even to this day one can find the remains of travelers who did not make it under rocks and in the crannies on the way. The Pass itself is 4,700m high and it is an overall rewarding trek in terms of sceneic value and camp sites. Min-tika itself roughly means the "grazing ground of a hundred antelopes". There is plenty of floride rich water flowing past you all along the trek. The mountains are unscaled and the area is known for Ibex, brown bear and snow leapord sighting.
