As Dalat was just over 2,000m, it was a bit more refreshing & cooler.
This was the growing belt for many great things, such as coffee, tea & fruits.
Just drive a short way out the city and it was a green painting with irrigation channels 7 workers tending to the crops.
We stopped at a random field to see what was growing, & found it was a huge plantation of Coffee. I did try a fresh bean, but it was terrible, and much work was needed to roast it, to bring out the flavour.
In-between the fields were incredible fences of natural bamboo, some 5-6 m high, but growing round the trellises of the farm house was this amazing blue flower, which looked so bizarre it could have been one of those was candle carvings you see in the tourist shops.
I have no idea what it was but it was stunning.
