Since quitting my day job as a motor mechanic to find out more about the world I haven’t looked back. I’m a self proclaimed “petrol head” and love discovering how things work. When I was 26, I left my job as a mechanic to study for a degree in Environmental Biology followed by a PhD in Virology and Molecular Biology at Oxford University. Around this time, I was firmly bitten by the parasite bug. Life will never be the same!
